Being The ELCA Today
Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton in Alaska
Thank you / Quyana Alaskans for your hospitality to our presiding bishop. Bishop Eaton attended the Seward Peninsula Spring Conference in Nome for several days, then visited with folks in Anchorage.
Donations were received for the Seward Peninsula Lutheran Ministries Endowment. Interest from that endowment helps to fund the ministries of the six congregations of the Seward Peninsula Cluster.
Bishop Eaton wears a kuspuk made by Sally Contreras and given to her by Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Nome. She also wears a sealskin cross made by Sherry Anderson.
