Being The ELCA Today:     With Presiding Bishop Eaton
Picture

Bishop Elizabeth Eaton in Alaska

Thank you/Quyana Alaskans for your hospitality to our presiding bishop.  Bishop Eaton was with the Seward Peninsula Spring Conference in Nome Thursday through Sunday and then with folks in Anchorage Sunday night for dinner.

Donations were received for the Seward Peninsula  Lutheran Ministries Endowment.  Interest from that endowment helps to fund the ministries of the six congregations of the Seward Peninsula Cluster.

Bishop Eaton is wearing the kuspuk made by Sally Contreras and given to her by Our Savior's Lutheran in Nome.  She is also wearing a  sealskin cross made by Sherry Anderson.
