2025 Alaska Synod Assembly

Registration

Please note:

This registration is for the Synod Assembly, April 25 -27, at Joy Lutheran Church. The Assembly starts at 1:30pm.
All Voting Members are expected to attend in person. [Exceptions can be submitted to the Alaska Synod Executive Committee, via [email protected].]
Assembly registration fees cover airfare, and event costs, including the off-road Assemblies which take place every 8 years. Please pay the fee at the same time of registration. Congregations pay the registration fee for voting members.
The Synod covers airfare, as needed. Please make your air reservations through the synod office [[email protected]], as soon as possible.
- We will not reimburse for airfare you have purchased on your own.
- When the synod office purchases your airfare, you and the synod office gain mileage points.
- You will need to provide:
  - Your full name,
  - Your phone number and email address,
  - Your date of birth,
  - Your preferred dates, times and locations of departure and arrival, and
  - [If you have them,] your Alaska Airlines mileage number and TSA Traveler Number.
Joy Lutheran Church will be providing childcare for the plenary sessions, keynote, and workshops only. There will not be childcare during meals or worship times.

Housing is either in a home, or in a hotel at your cost, and is arranged by you and/or your congregation/organization. You must arrange transportation between your housing and the Assembly.
- If you would rather stay at a home, you can request a home-stay.
Regular parking is at Joy Lutheran Church which has a front and rear lot (see map). Overflow parking is at Eagle River Baptist Church which is adjacent to Joy Lutheran Church across the alley. Overflow parking is also available in the grass field between Joy Lutheran and Eagle River Baptist. This field is accessible from the alley between the two church buildings.
- *Important* For Sunday, April 27th, overflow parking is only available in the grass field. Please do not park adjacent to Eagle River Baptist's building.
- It is important commuters park orderly and do not block any entrances at either church.
- Two disability parking spaces are located in the front parking lot at Joy Lutheran Church. If you do not have mobility issues, please consider leaving the rows closest to the front entrance open for others.

$25 for each Non-voting Participant and Retired Clergy
